Before things get started...

Finally, after a 3 years time, I completed my diploma in Audio Visual Technology at Ngee Ann Polytechnic with quite a good result. Well, it is just about a figure and that's all.

So here comes the junction where I need to decide what should I pursue for the next phase. Study or Work? Something that is not easy for me to decide and my decision is affected from many aspects, family, financial situation and so on.

But no matter what, I am graduated and now I am figuring out which industry suit me the best, either event setup or engineering. Personally I am prefer to work for engineering because that is where I am more confident and comfortable with.

Overseas study is one of my plan and it is unlikely will happen due to the money issue. I need to prepare a minimum of 30K dollars in order to support myself at overseas.

Anyway, after a long break I finally update my blog, on north south highway. This is also my first time to try out so called blog-on-the-go. It is be perfect if maxis can provide the coverage as good as Starhub is providing in Singapore but unfortunately Starhub is not allow prepaid user to get 3G service. Things are not perfect all the time, aren't we?

Ok, first of all, I would like to wish everyone has a happy 2010 and a happy chinese new year.

It has been about 2 months that I forgot I do have a blog and thankfully they didn't delete my account due to the inactive.

Well, finally I am freeeeee from attachment. It was great experience to me for getting know more people and learn how to deal with different kinds of people. Meanwhile, it was also messed up my life because of its no-release-time working hour. I was working about 30 hours continuously on last 2 days. As you can see, I am still surviving and moving on.

Few more hours later, the year of tiger will reach and hopefully it will be a better year for me. Job, money, further studies, this and that are currently my most concern of my life so hopefully I can manage to come out a best solution for everything.

I spent a whole Christmas day just for recovering my body from no enough of sleeping. Anyway, wish everyone has a merry christmas and a happy new 2010.

No Clue About What Was Happened Recently

Well, I seldom to post something personal here except for this time. I was quite emotional recently due to certain reason. Don't know why and don't know how should I explain all of these because I can't even make thing clear in my mind.

After so many years of being single, I am already used to be alone and thanks to that, sometime I found that being alone can be quite good such as you don't need to wait for anyone and follow anyone. I can do whatever I like and I want in your life. Because it is all mine.

Sometime I found that I am actually quite fortunate to be a single because something happened on my friend recently let me realise something, it is not easy to maintain a relationship. At least I believe so....

Hope everything will be alright, my bro. If you saw this post, I hope that you will understand who I mentioned.

Single isn't bad. But sometime when you see the people around you is in paired. How sweet is that. It tells you that being single is not perfect because no matter how strong you are, you need someone that you can tell her everything, not need to act or pretend anything when you are in front of her and someone can listen all my complains of what I dislike.

Maybe that sounds too simple but for me, it is maybe the hardest in my life. How to get such a person that can understand you so well. I have really no idea how....

I was trying to get into relationship before. Thanks to my buddy. They are really concern about me but sorry I did let them down. Thing was just can't work out.

I am afraid that I am just getting too desperately. I really do....

Recently I was chatting with someone that we knew each other quite long time ago. She is good, clever(she claimed herself as a clever girl), outgoing and considerate. I don't want to mess up her life so I won't give too much details about her.

I thought that was just simply chatting like chatting with an old friend. I think we both were really thinking that way. She is still single now and she is 'shopping' for her target. That was actually very simple.

But something weird happened on the night. I was having a weird dream. A really long dream.

In the dream, I can't remember where it started. I was getting married with her in overseas. After we complete the wedding, we came back to our home but thing was just not going so smoothly. My parents were disagree with my decision because both of us were still young and due to other reasons I had no choice need to leave her alone. She was very sad and decided to go somewhere to seek for her future. I was trying to get her back and I did meet her somewhere. She rejected me and I was crying like hell. We were been apart for many years later, we met again somewhere but we didn't be together in the end.

How does the dream sound to you? Dramatic isn't it? At least to me it was very dramatic.

But the thing is every part of the dream did affect my feeling. Although it was a dream but I can feel the feeling. It was so real. Maybe I am just thinking too much... I am not sure what is happened on me.

But I know at least the dream was telling me that my effort was been wasted because I spent so many years to learn how to let it go and I thought I did but actually I didn't....

Maybe for those who understand me and know what I had been through for these few years, they will know who am I talking about. No matter you know who is she or not, what I want is nothing much. I am just seeking for advice. I have no idea what should I do next. Should I get back to her? or should I just move forward?

Setting up projectors and screens.

We did a setup in Sheraton Tower for a conference. I am not sure what the event was about but what I know is the event was related to Intel. I helped to do projector setup such as setting up the screen and doing the adjustment for the projector to make sure the image is able to projected well on screen. Image alignment, colour correction and contrast comparison are the tests to make sure the setting is correct. We spent quite lot of times for doing image alignment because we need to ensure that 3 projectors can project the image to the screen nicely and can combine become a whole image. As you can imagine, the 3 screens were putting together side by side.

Someone was plugged in the RGBHV cable wrongly.

That was nothing much happened on the day. No event need to be set up. So we had to stay at office to do some housekeeping works such as cleaning the flight case, do labelling for the flight cases for convenience purposes. I took the chance to know more about the equipment and did some research on it. I found out something pretty interesting, which is wireless DMX transmitter and receiver.

24/09/09

Same as yesterday. Nothing much happened on the day but we need to get prepared for the next 3 days because we have 2 major events are coming up and another is wedding ceremony set up. So I followed Xiao Boy(Eng Meng) to prepare the necessary lighting gears for the next 3 events. Now I am more get used to their working style although it is quite tiring most of the time but I think this will be a good chance for me to figure it out what suit me the best.

Doing frequency response test for EV speakers.

Today we need to do set up at St Regis for a wedding ceremony. The wedding is held by a tycoon's son. Well, that is not the point. Before the set up, the technicians from Electro Voice came to do quality check for their speakers. Our company purchased about 24 line array speakers. The test they did was exactly the same as what we did during audio technology lesson. Thanks to Dr Wang. The guys explained to me how important the test is to maintain the quality of the driver to make sure the frequency response and level are still within acceptable range.

This was the first time I have been assigned to do rigging and cabling for the lighting. In the end, I managed to get the job done and now I am more confidence to do it and I know what I am doing and what should I do. We did a small PA system set up at the entrance there. Although this doesn't sounds too hard for us but at least now they are more comfortable to assign work for us to do. It is a great start I guess.

Running and taping down the cabling properly is very important to ensure the cable looks neatly and easier for teardown later.

Here comes to the last day of the week. We were doing a set up at Singapore Expo. The amount of equipment involved wasn't a lot but the scale of the event set up was quite a huge set up. Me and Nigel were helping Roy to build up the trusses for projector screen. Most of the senior colleagues were busying for the set up so we didn't disturb them too much and we were just doing some simple job such as clearing the venue, taping the cable and make sure the cable is running smoothly and nicely, arranging all the empty flight cases to make sure that all the cases are keeping neatly. After the set up, Ah Kim and Ah Hui and another guy were explaining to us how the whole video distribution system work with connecting all the input and output devices such as monitor, projector and video camera.

After a disappointing N97, now is the time to show something great for the loyal Nokia supporters.

The New Nokia Internet Tablet N900, combining with Maemo 5 operating system. The OS is part of the family of Linux and it has the same characteristic as Linux. It is compatible with most of the Linux applications and it is a open source operation system as similar as Andriod.

The problem is, when you see such a great device but only come with a 500Mhz processor, I believe that you might have the same doubt as mine. Why Nokia only equipped such a average speed of processor for this great device. Iphone 3GS is come with 600Mhz, 1Ghz processor for mobile phone is also available.

This is not the only thing that Nokia should improve. Here is the another problem, the resistive touch screen. I believe that resistive touch screen is not as fast as others such as iPhone and HTC. I hope when the time is coming, Nokia will solve the problems and make this become a great internet tablet.

Week One

Finally I have a the time to fully rest my body. I am having my 3 days off now due to no major event happens during these 3 days so we managed to get to rest.

Here is the summary of the week.

Day 2 (15/09)

Working Hour: 10am-11pm

First, I followed George to Ngee Ann Poly to set up a 12 inch x 9 inch projector screen at Convention Centre. We did a set up at Ritz Carlton for a company award ceremony, The Entrepreneur of The Year. We started the setup around 7pm due to the delay by the previous event that occupying the venue. That is the first time for us to do set up for a large event. More than 20 moving lights, 6 profiles, 4 pairs of speaker including subwoofer units were been utilised for the event. The company mobilised 3 big trucks for this event but they said this is just considered as medium scale of event set up. I can't wait for take part of large scale of event set up. I am looking forward to that. We were helping them until 11pm because we want to catch the last train.

Day 3 (16/09)

Working Hour: 10am-3am

Me and Nigel were been ordered to report to the office on 10am meanwhile the girls need to report to the Ritz Carlton for helping them meanwhile can learn about what are they doing during rehearsal.

We went to Swiss Hotel to do a set up for the conference. It is a partnership signing event in between 2 parties, Youth Olympic 2010 with Canon. It is not a very big scale set up but this time we had the chance to take part more in doing set up, running the cables and help to do the connection for the equipments. I did for video part. We did the set up on 12pm and teardown on 4.30pm. After we complete the teardown, we stayed at office for awhile, taking some rest for preparing for midnight strike at Ritz Carlton.

This is the first time we do until midnight. We helped to do teardown. I followed Eng Meng and he taught me what I should do during teardown. I noticed that everyone actually know their rules very well and they will helping each other once they complete their jobs. I found that is good and it helps to faster the process and we can manage to get back earlier. After teardown, we need to load all the flight cases onto the trucks and send back to office. We left around 3am.

Day 4 (16/09)

Working Hour: 1pm-7pm

Due to the late night strike yesterday, we been told that we only need to report on 1pm. Not many event need to do on the day so Raymond gave us a briefing about lighting equipment and what is important for setting up an events. After that I followed Eng Meng to Hilton Singapore to do a small set up for a product launching event. It was running by a indian company, which is called Kingfisher. This time I need to follow the order from Eng Meng to complete the tasks, such as rigging lights, running cable, and setting up the console. I feel that I can handle it with more confident now. Thanks to Eng Ming.

Day 5 (17/09)

Working Hour: 10am-3am

We were doing some housekeeping work such as cleaning the equipment, changing the name tags and rearrange the flight cases during the first few hours of working. In the afternoon, me and Nigel followed Raymond go back to Ngee Ann Poly to collect the projector screen. We did a set up for HTC roadshow at Plaza Singapura Atrium on 11pm. It was quite a medium scale of set up. It includes 8 Parcans, 2 pairs of speakers, a dimmer rack and audio mixer. After the set up, we went to Boat Quay to help the others to do the teardown. During the loading up the flight cases to the truck, I accidentally hurt Roy's toe. I am really sorry about that. Work safely is very important. I will learn from mistake....

Attachment is Started!!!

Now I am facing the final part of getting my diploma, industry attachment, which is I think that is the hardest part to complete my course.

However, due to many reasons, I was been arranged to attach to event production company, Trio A.V. This field is not I really interested in but I think now is the good chance for me to explore it. Maybe I will like it after that?? Nothing is impossible.

Day 1 (14/09)

Working Hour: 10am - 6pm

Today is the first day of work. Last night i tried to figure out how to go to the office which is located at Focus One, somewhere of Ubi. Unfortunately there is no straight bus for me to go from Clementi. The only fastest way for me to get to work is take train then bus. The journey is approximately 1 hour.

I reached the office slightly later than Nigel, Gab and Yun Wei. We were reporting to our liaison officer, Mr Alvinson Yap. He is an accountancy manager. We had a briefing session by him to talk about the operation about the company. Just right after the briefing, a few colleagues were going out for doing a projector screen set up at Suntec and Alvinson suggested 2 of us can follow them to have a look about the set up. Me and Gab were followed them.

Because we are new to the company, basically we were not sure what we should do at there so we just stand aside to see how they do the set up. Of course we did help them to do some simple jobs like help to move around the scaffold, pushing the fly cases to the venue and observe what were they doing at the moment.

Basically We didn't do much on monday and we managed to get back home on 6pm. What a great start of the attachment but this is just the beginning.

Finally, I am considered a step behind to complete my diploma and what I left now is a 6 month attachment. Currently I haven't confirm which company will I attach to but hopefully will toward more technical side.

So because of the attachment, what I have now is just a short 2 weeks holiday instead of 8 weeks. Basically, I will take more rest during this period and of course, will looking for more good food to eat.

Last 2 days ago, my Singapore classmates came to JB to relax and looking for nice food. Since Mr Joel was the first to come, so I brought him to eat quite a lot of food on the first day, including mi hun gue, nando's and nasi lemak with ayam goreng. Day 2, the rest of the people including syazwan, desmond, andrew, gab, wan yee, meng ting, eng teck and izwan reached in City Square around 2pm due to some issue(late, obviously...), I brought them to Danga City Mall to enjoy some indoor games, such as pool, bowling, karaoke and archery. This was the first time I shoot about 40 arrows. It is not easy to shoot accurately but it is fun.

Someone was lost and drove her car to danga bay. I spent around 30 mins to lead her back to the shopping mall. She is still quite new on driving so I understand and didn't give too much pressure on her. But I gave one of my first time to her which is hogging the Skudai road by driving 50kmph. That was ridiculous and embarrassing.

So after the indoor games session, I brought them to Nusa Bestari 2 to enjoy a nice Malay cuisine. Since for quite a lot of reasons, I suggested to ask Eason to drive her car so we can make the journey safer and faster. After Tom Yum session, we introduced good cendol and ice kacang to them. They really been impressed by the dessert there I guess.

Day 3, which was yesterday, we went to watch G.I Joe at City Square. It was quite a impressive movie in the aspect of visual effect and computer graphic. The technology showed by the movie looks very realistic and not way too far ahead from now.

That is something we just found out yesterday. If you want to watch movie in JB and you have internet connection. Here have a very fast and convenience way to get the movie ticket without queuing at the ticket counter. The solution is book the ticket online. You won't need to pay a single cent of money to book the ticket. You only require to go down to collect the ticket one hour before the show start. What a great service provided by Cathay Malaysia.

Well, perhaps around these 2 months I won't be fancy about the donuts because when you experience the feeling that 24 donuts were putting in front of you and you need to finish all of them, it is harder than u might think...

That was the only day I been spoiled by the choices of donut... Please don't ask me to eat donut within these 2 months. I need to take a break...

As a soccer fan, especially for EPL fans, the recent big news is Cristiano Ronaldo joined Real Madrid. The transfer fee is the top of the world now. Sounds unbelievable? His monthly salary is 33 times higher than President of Germany.

This is the problem of soccer world nowadays. Money can buy every player you like but will they understand that champion can't be bought by money, no matter how much you spend. That is why sometime I prefer NBA rather than soccer. The Salary Cap is the thing should introduce to soccer world.

So how well he can play and perform his magic in spanish league? Who knows. We will see...

But how big the impact for Manchester United when they lose a good player. The good player is meant to them. Maybe it is a good thing for Rooney. Now he can get back to his most familiar position.

A Michael Owen can replace CR and Tevez? Many of MU fans are doubt on Ferguson's decision but actually I think it is quite a great deal. No need to spend a single cent and he got such a good player, if he don't get injure so easily.

Really look forward for this coming new season. Will Liverpool become the champion? Will the dynasty of MU fall? Will Arsenal produce more and more great young players? Will Chelsea become the champion with new coach? Will Manchester City can mess up the Big Four?

No matter what, the only thing I know so far is the new season of EPL will start on 15th August.

Holidaying....

Finally, after a bunch of events and a lot of assignments, I am currently enjoying my not so relaxing holiday. Why it is not so relaxing? Because assignments still need to prepare for the school reopen. Mixing, live event, paperworks.... it is just like never ending...

But I did really rest more and eat more during this holiday. This is my main intention for the term break.

Forgot to mention, I watched Monster Vs Alien in 3D cinema. The experience is very interesting and the effect is good. But I think I won't go for another 3D movie unless the technology can improve until I can get rid of the colour spectacles. When there is a stationary scene, the 3D effect is excellent but when there is a movement scene, what I can see is blur image. That's all. It was a pretty nice movie. It was funny, especially BOB. I think if the movie without this character, it will become quite boring.

Transformer 2 and Ice Age 3 are coming soon. CAN'T MISS IT....

What was I doing recently?

Finally, I manage to get some free time to relax myself after a bunch of events and assignments. So I decided to give a summary about what has I done so far in this 5 weeks of my final year semester.

First of all, we had been told by our lecturers, Mr Isaac and Mr Lau that we need to come out 2 projects before end of the semester. One is for studio recording and another one is live events. For the studio recording part, thanks to Joel, he found a band is performing at a bar. So we decided to do a live recording and I believe that it will be very interesting and the performance of the band is good. We scheduled the recording on next Saturday. Live sound project is still searching under progress but it might be interesting.

Last week, we organised a live sound event. It was a karaoke competition and it called "Soul of Entertainment". The event was successful and we really did a great job. I was really enjoying to work with my classmates. This was the first time we really did a live event and I realised that is not a easy job.

So we were staying at school. We stayed at the place called LOFT. It was a great place. Fully air conditioned, wireless ready, fridge, sofa, bed and toilets. There is even much better than the place I am staying in Singapore.

Here is the boring part, for stage management module, I don't know why we need to watch 5 events for no reason because we don't even know what we need to do for these events. I have nothing to comment about the lecturer. We need to tell her what we observed every week. What a boring and nonsense lesson....

Now come to the worst part, I am having 2 Interdisciplinary Studies modules in this semester. One is Event communication and another one is World Issue: Singapore Perspective. Both of the modules are driving me crazy. I hate to write in english but these modules need to do a lot of writing assignments.

Actually, I didn't really feel i did many things in this 5 weeks and common test is coming soon. I was sick recently and I lost my voice for no reason.

I am seriously desperately hoping I will have some free time to catch some movies like X men, Star Trek, Night at the Museum and Monster vs Aliens.

I am also waiting for the releasing of new iTouch and Nokia 5730XM. I think is the time for me to change my handphone because it started to go crazy sometime, especially for the speaker. I think the connection of the speaker part started to loose. It is the sign for retirement.

Spent too much money recently as well. Don't know where is my money gone.

2 weeks never go back to JB. I am so missing my family, my mum's cook, my bed and my air cond. It is very hot here recently. Finally I can go back home tomorrow after I finish the soccer competition with my classmates.

Recently I was downloaded quite a lot of albums. I am highly recommending you to listen John Mayer's songs. He is a very good guitarist and he has a very good voice. Lady Gaga, The Fray, Ronan Keating, 3OH!3, Ciara and Beyonce also launched their latest albums recently. A korean song, it called "Nobody" also is a good song to listen. Having trouble to maintain 2 email accounts? Using one of the email account more often meanwhile don't want to miss anything that receive by another account? Have no idea how to compensate with these email accounts?

Now, Michael's Top Tip is going to show you that how can you divert your email from one account to another account.

Here is the scenario. I am having a personal hotmail account meanwhile I also having a school email and this helps me to keep track for the latest update of the information from my school and my lecturers. Sometime is pretty lazy and not very convenience to check each account individually so here come the solution.

I will show the way to set it up step by step.

Step 1:
Log in to the account that you wish to divert the emails. Example, I want to divert the emails from my school account to my personal email account.

You need to set up a new contact first so later it can divert to your contact, which is the email address that you wish to divert.

Key in any information that you think is necessary, of course name and the email address are the must.

When you done just click save & close button.

Step 2:
Go to Tools tab....

Choose New Mail Rule

It will pop up a new Create Rule window.
Step 3:
Under Create conditions session, change the sender to ALL DOCUMENTS.

Then press the ADD button.

Step 4:
Under Create action session, change the 'move to folder' command to 'send copy to'.

It will add a new input bar and you need to click the button that just beside it.

It will pop up a new window that ask you to choose the contact that you want to send to.
Select the contact and press the 'ADD' button. Press OK after you done these.

Get back to the Create Rule window and press the add button to add in the action that you chosen just now.

So now you should see the exactly setting like this:
Just click the OK button and now you will get thing done.

You should be able to see the new rule that you set it just now.

Now you can divert the school emails to your personal account and also can reply to the sender. This is seriously brilliant. So you cannot find any excuses for forgotten to read your school email.

After 12 rounds, I was back to Singapore and met with my classmates to watch another movie that we wanted to watch. Of course it was not the same day as the day I was watching 12 Rounds.

Why we decided to watch this movie majority was because this movie was starring by Jackie Chan, Daniel Wu, and Fan BingBing. We thought that the movie will be packed with a lot of action scenes. We were wrong, very wrong...

Well, if you haven't watch this movie and is considering about to watch this. I must make this clear to you. If you can't take too cruel scene, better think twice. If you are expecting the fighting scene like Jackie Chan always did, sorry this movie will definitely let you down, pretty badly.

This is quite different from what you watched of Jackie Chan production. This is not something that can make you laugh, can make you feel impressive, or something that can make you sit on the chair to enjoy the show easily. This is a movie that shows that how is the China people enter to Japan illegally. A tracktor mechanic nicknamed SteelHead (Jackie Chan) enters to Japan illegaly to look for his girlfriend and he met Jie (Daniel Wu) at Shinjuku. He starts to earn some money for his daily life while he is still searching for his girlfriend. Meanwhile, his girlfriend actually married to Japanese Yakuza leader named Eguchi (Kato Masaya). When he found out that his girlfriend was actually married to japanese, he is deeply disappointed and he met Lily (Fan Bingbing), ladyboss of a Bar. Steelhead decided to do something big and make his name famous at Shinjuku. He has his concern but things turn out to something that beyond his control and that is not actually he want. Jie's hand was been chopped by one of the leader then he decided to make the revenge for Jie. Thing started to go out of control and he can't turn it back to his simple life.

Well, this is the how this movie started. If you want to find out more, 10 bux will not be too much for this movie. Worth to give yourself a chance to watch it. Jackie Chan is really getting old and we can't always expect him to fight here and there. What I can see from this movie that actually he is trying to do something else. He is trying to bring something for us unlike those previous Jackie Chan's movies that we just watch and gain nothing.

So, give yourself a chance and also give Jackie one...

Recently I watched plenty of movies but due to the laziness and too busy for something else, finally I decided to blog about what I watched recently.

First of all, I went back and watched 12 Rounds at Jusco Tebrau. Because my friend was busying for his work at the moment so I watched it alone and of course I drove my car to there.

Why I will watch this movie although seriously the movie is just very normal, nothing too special really. The reason is because of John Cena and i don't have another movie to watch at the time. So I picked this.

About the storyline, I should just summarize it will do.

A policeman was caught a bad guy and accidentally caused the dead of the bad guy's beloved. After a few months, the bad guy was broke the prison and ran away. The bad guy decided to avenge for his girlfriend. So, the bad guy caught the Detector's girlfriend and set up a lot of so called 'rounds' for him to complete in order to save his girlfriend.

As you can expect, the detector was successfully saved his girlfriend and killed the bad guy at the end of the movie. That's it. Nothing too much to expect and fortunately the whole movie was quite packed with actions so I can manage to stay awake until the end of the show.

Nothing too much to comment. Just a normal action packed movie. Not really worth it to spend money to buy the ticket. Really....

Review: The Fast and The Furious 4

Finally after the Tokyo Drift, Vin Diesel is back to action. As usual, muscle car is used by him and Paul Walker is used Japanese car, this time he was using Nissan Skyline R34. It sponsored by the police department for him to catch the boss. This time round, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are cooperate once again to chase the same boss but for different purpose.

You want to know more about the movie? I am strongly recommend you to spend some money for the movie ticket. The movie is just worth every cents that u spend for the ticket. Why you must watch it at cinema because you can only feel the sound impact by using cinema sound system.

Car racing, car chasing, a lot of nice cars, a lot of hot chicks and together with a lot of engine sound, I can't imagine you watch the movie with low quality image and lousy sound system. I will rather kill myself. So, show some support to the movie company by spending a 10 bux for the movie ticket. Nothing too hard to achieve, isn't it?

Another must watch movie of 2009.

Beside the movie, today i enjoyed my great time with my classmates, Stephy, Andrew and Gab. Beside Stephy, who staying in JB as well, they were coming from Singapore and I brought them to City Square and Jusco Tebrau. We enjoyed our lunch at the Portuguese Chicken Restaurant. The chicken there is still good, especially for the egg tart. Even I never eat the egg tart quite a long time ago but their standard is still maintain pretty well.

Then about the dinner, we had it at the Nando's Restaurant. It is located in the Jusco Tebrau. The grilled chicken is seriously din't dissapointing me. I ordered a 1/4 chicken meal with 2 sidelines, old style chips and coleslaw. My friends seem like pretty enjoying the meal as well.

I was driving around the city area whole day. Although it was pretty tiring but I was still quite enjoying my day. Hope my friends will feel the same with me as well.

A Heaven In A Jungle

Heaven and Jungle... where is the link between them?

Actually, the residential area that just beside my house there, Horizon Hill was opened quite a long time ago. According to a lady who working at the company said that it opened at the end of last year.

Well, here is the main actually I want to present. It is Horizon Hill Golf Clubhouse. I went there today morning after my basketball session with my teammate. I was curious about that and wanted to take a look long time ago and finally I managed to go there today.

Swimming pool together with a very nice scenery.

The place is very peaceful. You can find a lot of facilities there such as swimming pools, gym, tennis courts, lounge and of course, 18-holes golf course. The whole clubhouse is decorated with a lot of beautiful plants and water features.

Here come a problem regarding to membership for the clubhouse. Listen carefully. You will only have the chance to apply the membership there if you are the house purchaser and the house you purchased should not smaller than Semi-D. Seriously not what I can afford now. One Semi-D at there is not cheap. But anyway, you still can enjoy the swimming pool and tennis court there as visitor. Of course you will need to charged. The price range is around 10-12 bux for adult. For children the ticket will be slightly cheaper, ya slightly... and I need to mention this as well. The price actually different between weekdays and weekends. So I guess you roughly get the system there actually.

Don't know who been Bukit Indah Clubhouse before? If you were, what I can the differences between these 2 clubhouse are, they are cannot put together for comparison. Seriously, it is a different league.

The most interesting part that mean to me is the 18 hole golf course. According to the blueprint of the whole area. The golf courses are covering the whole residential area so if you are planning to complete all the courses, I am wondering that how the golfer can make it although the buggy you can get it from clubhouse definitely but one more problem is the weather is quite hot. I guess the reason is because they are doing the landscaping so you cant really find big tree that can help you cover the sunlight but maybe later will get better once they done the landscaping.

Lastly, the clubhouse actually haven't officially open but you can start using their facilities there and of course, you need to pay for it. But there is a nice place for you to relax yourself and enjoy the peaceful during your free time.

iPhone 3G is Launched By Maxis

Surprisingly, it is not brought in to Malaysia by Celcom but Maxis is so much better so it is not a problem there.

The interesting part is when you signing up for the iPhone Plan, think twice. The plan is actually a bit weird. If you sign up for longer period, you actually spend much on the phone. So if you serious want a iPhone, just get a 6 month plan will be the best.

I won't discuss too much detail about the mobile plan here. I am waiting for its 3rd generation iPhone OS in this coming summer.

iPhone 3.0, The Greatest Platform of Mobile Phone?

First of all, why I put a question mark at the last of the title because this is still in beta version but all the iPhone software developer can start to download the beta version of SDK for iPhone 3.0 through iPhone Developer Program

Before I go into the new features and updates for the new iPhone OS, iPhone 3.0, I would like to share my opinion after watching the presentation.

When the iPhone first generation came out, it really created a very huge shock to the mobile phone market, majority not because of its OS but its multi touch screen feature and accelerometer. These were the brand new feature on mobile phone when it was 2 years ago. When the 2nd generation of iPhone, iPhone 3G came out, it gives slightly improve from the 1st generation, majority is the 3G feature and the OS update. But on March 17, Apple was introducing a new generation of iPhone OS and it is really impressive. It starts to change my mind that whether I should get a iPhone at the future.

First, let's take a look of new feature for iPhone 3.0 SDK and what will happen for the future developement of the application. I am standing at the point of view as a handphone user but not a iPhone supporter.

1. In App Purchase
This idea is seriously attractive to the developement company. Basically, the idea is when you need to get new additional levels, items and features on the games, you can just purchase the items you want directly through the application and it makes the whole process faster and easier rather than go through iTunes Store and do it step by step. This new feature will just simply handle it all. So maybe this will attract more company to join in and develope more and more application for iPhone but it will be quite costy to play games.

2. Peer to Peer Connectivity
By adding multi player feature into your game, you can now play the games with your friends through peer to peer network connection and Bluetooth. This feature will not be just limit to games but it also enable for other application. Will it be better than Nokia N-Gage platform? We will see...

3. Apple Push Notification Service
This is seriously brilliant after a 6 month developement from Apple by redesign the whole server architecture. So now, they introduce this service. Let's take an example to make it simple. Usually, if you are running a instant messenger on your mobile phone, you can receive the messages when you are turn on the program but if you quit the program, the connection between server with your phone will break. It is possible to run the program at the background but it will cause the battery life drops significantly. To solve this battery life issue, apple come out this idea and it can ensure that you still can receive the service without running the application. The data will go through the apple server from the service provider and send it to your phone by sms. Brilliant isn't it? Seriously I am not a iPhone supporter but this new feature is really impressed me.

4. Maps
Will we feel sometime that the google map feature is just not enough and has the room of improvement? Here is the great new for the developers and users. The developers can embed maps into your applications by using the new Map Kit framework. It works with the Google Mobile Maps Service and features panning and zooming, custom annotations, current location and geocoding.

5. Accessories
For now, usually iPhone and iPod Touch users will just dock their devices with speakers but with the new feature available by new SDK, the speaker company can just add in more features like putting new applications that can enhance the experience with playback the songs through the speakers, like putting equalizer, visualizer and so on. During the presentation, the LifeScan by Johnson & Johnson company introduced a new equipment that can help diabetic to control and maintain their health. The equipment can connect to iPhone by using the connector and it will transfer the reading from the equipment to iPhone and analyze it. This is just more than a mobile phone can do and it will bring a lot of benefits to the patients. Brilliant idea once again.

6. iPod Library Access
Feel boring for the soundtracks during the moment of playing games? With updated Media Player framework, you can access your itunes library to play, repeat and shuffle songs or whole playlists, or create sequences of songs on your games and applications.

Beside these features, 1000 new APIs are prepared for developers. Developers will have the tools to enable in-app purchases — like subscriptions, additional game levels, and new content. They can also create apps that connect peer to peer via Bluetooth, communicate with hardware accessories, and use the Apple Push Notification service to provide alerts. Nothing is impossible with this new SDK.

After a briefly look for this SDK, now is the moment to get into the new iPhone OS, iPhone 3.0. 100 more new features are been added into it to make it better. The most exciting feature is cut, copy and paste feature.

After you double tap on the text area, you can select a region that you wish to cut or copy. You can just resize the region pretty easily by holding the blue bar and draging at the same time.

The undo feature is even more awesome. I don't have any idea that which way can be better as what apple come out with, simply just shake the phone then the option will appear.

Another great feature is spotlight. It is a search engine that allow you to search all the files and applications in your phone and email inbox. Just simply press the home button when you are at the home screen or just switch your home screen to the most left page then it will show the search bar there. Spotlight is also one of the famous and useful feature that built in the Mac OS. I am really glad to see that because I am also a mac user.

I am afraid that I can't stop writing this post if I want to clearly explain all the features. Something i am wondering about is how the Bluetooth function will be improved? What I know so far is it can support to stereo Bluetooth headset and link to other devices but does it possible to transfer data through the built in Bluetooth? How about video recording feature?

Anyway, the iPhone 3.0 is still in beta version now. It still can be improved by apple before it release on this coming summer. So I hope that other mobile phone platform like Symbian, Window Mobile and others can come out something great as well to fight with Apple. Let's see how the thing will change in this summer....

IT Show March '09 @ Suntec City

I went to Suntec City last week for the IT Fair. Seriously I was planning to buy a external harddisk with bigger storage and considering to get a new headphone to replace my existing Atlec Lansing headphone.

I bought a new Seagate 1TB FreeAgent Xtreme Desktop with USB, FIrewire400 and eSata connector. I don't really concern about eSata connector. What I really want and more concern about is the Firewire connection. Although it only come with Firewire400 version, which mean it can support up to 400Mbps, slightly slower than USB2.0. Because of the MacBook only come with 2 USB ports, it makes me to buy the new external harddisk with firewire connector so I can simply use my Firewire to connect my harddisk meanwhile I can save one more USB port for other purpose.

The 1TB harddisk is solved all my problem. Recently I was burned a lot of my data into DVDs and it was really troublesome and wasting a lot of DVDs. I burned around 30 pieces of DVDs for my movies, pictures and other documents. In order to solve my problem more efficent rather than burning data into disc, another larger storage space of harddisk is required. The Seagate FreeAgent Xtreme is really cool. The cover is in Black color and the Seagate logo will glow when you turn it on. Wanted to get the silver color version but it is come without firewire.

It costed me $229. Although it is costed me a lot of money but I am happy to get it because I can just simply put everything into it. Now I already used more than 300GB.

Beside the external harddisk, another thing I bought is the Audio Technica headphone. I was only considering to get one at the beginning but the offer that was really attractive. The original price of the headphone is nearly $60 but after the 10% discount, it only cost me around $50.

After one week of using this headphone, what I can say is it is really worth my every cents for spending on this new baby. The sound quality is superb for the range and the look is quite stylish. I bought a white color version. It is also fold-able for me to bring anywhere conveniently.

The mid and high frequencies response is awesome and it is better than my another Sony Headphone because this is more focus on music meanwhile the Sony is more concern on movie surround sound. The bass i think it is also not a issue because so far it gives me quite a satisfied performance. The driver of SJ3 is same with my Sony headphone, which is coming with 40mm driver.

So, I spent around $280 in this IT show. Although that was really a lot but these are seriously great deal.

Forgot to mention, I was went back once again on Sunday, the last day of the show to survey the price for 1GB mp3 player but the price was slightly expensive than malaysia. The funny part is because at the moment was fully crowded by people so the management of the IT fair suggested that people should return in an hour. What I feel is the way of them to control the crowd can be improved and I don't really think people will really return within an hour because you can hardly move in the place. Although the economy crisis is still existing but what i can see from this event is singaporeans will still spend their money for what they want and somemore there really offered a lot of great deals.

Throughout history, humans have always been prone to accidents. Some, such as the exotic car crashes seen on this page, can be very expensive. But that ' s trivial compared to the truly expensive accidents. An accident is defined as "an undesirable or unfortunate happening that occurs unintentionally and usually results in harm, injury, damage, or loss". Our aim is to list the top 10 most expensive accidents in the history of the world as measured in dollars.

This includes property damage and expenses incurred related to the accident such as cleanup and industry losses. Many of these accidents involve casualties which obviously cannot be measured in dollar terms. Each life lost is priceless and is not factored into the equation. Deliberate actions such as war or terrorism and natural disasters do not qualify as accidents and therefore are not included in this list.

# 10. Titanic - $150 Million

The sinking of the Titanic is possibly the most famous accident in the world. But it barely makes our list of top 10 most expensive. On April 15, 1912, the Titanic sank on its maiden voyage and was considered to be the most luxurious ocean liner ever built. Over 1,500 people lost their lives when the ship ran into an iceberg and sunk in frigid waters. The ship cost $7 million to build ($150 million in today ' s dollars).

# 9. Tanker Truck vs Bridge - $358 Million

On August 26, 2004, a car collided with a tanker truck containing 32,000 liters of fuel on the Wiehltal Bridge in Germany . The tanker crashed through the guardrail and fell 90 feet off the A4 Autobahn resulting in a huge explosion and fire which destroyed the load-bearing ability of the bridge. Temporary repairs cost $40 million and the cost to replace the bridge is estimated at $318 Million.

# 8. MetroLink Crash - $500 Million

On September 12, 2008, in what was one of the worst train crashes in California history, 25 people were killed when a Metrolink commuter train crashed head-on into a Union Pacific freight train in Los Angeles . It is thought that the Metrolink train may have run through a red signal while the conductor was busy text messaging. Wrongful death lawsuits are expected to cause $500 million in losses for Metrolink.

# 7. B-2 Bomber Crash - $1.4 Billion

Here we have our first billion dollar accident (and we ' re only #7 on the list). This B-2 stealth bomber crashed shortly after taking off from an air base in Guam on February 23, 2008. Investigators blamed distorted data in the flight control computers caused by moisture in the system. This resulted in the aircraft making a sudden nose-up move which made the B-2 stall and crash. This was 1 of only 21 ever built and was the most expensive aviation accident in history. Both pilots were able to eject to safety.

# 6. Exxon Valdez - $2.5 Billion

The Exxon Valdez oil spill was not a large one in relation to the world ' s biggest oil spills, but it was a costly one due to the remote location of Prince William Sound (accessible only by helicopter and boat). On March 24, 1989, 10.8 million gallons of oil was spilled when the ship ' s master, Joseph Hazelwood, left the controls and the ship crashed into a Reef. The cleanup cost Exxon $2.5 billion.

# 5. Piper Alpha Oil Rig - $3.4 Billion

The world ' s worst off-shore oil disaster. At one time, it was the world ' s single largest oil producer, spewing out 317,000 barrels of oil per day. On July 6, 1988, as part of routine maintenance, technicians removed and checked safety valves which were essential in preventing dangerous build-up of liquid gas. There were 100 identical safety valves which were checked. Unfortunately, the technicians made a mistake and forgot to replace one of them. At 10 PM that same night, a technician pressed a start button for the liquid gas pumps and the world ' s most expensive oil rig accident was set in motion.

Within 2 hours, the 300 foot platform was engulfed in flames. It eventually collapsed, killing 167 workers and resulting in $3.4 Billion in damages.

# 4. Challenger Explosion - $5.5 Billion

The Space Shuttle Challenger was destroyed 73 seconds after takeoff due on January 28, 1986 due to a faulty O-ring. It failed to seal one of the joints, allowing pressurized gas to reach the outside. This in turn caused the external tank to dump its payload of liquid hydrogen causing a massive explosion. The cost of replacing the Space Shuttle was $2 billion in 1986 ($4.5 billion in today ' s dollars). The cost of investigation, problem correction, and replacement of lost equipment cost $450 million from 1986-1987 ($1 Billion in today ' s dollars).

# 3. Prestige Oil Spill - $12 Billion

On November 13, 2002, the Prestige oil tanker was carrying 77,000 tons of heavy fuel oil when one of its twelve tanks burst during a storm off Galicia , Spain . Fearing that the ship would sink, the captain called for help from Spanish rescue workers, expecting them to take the ship into harbour. However, pressure from local authorities forced the captain to steer the ship away from the coast. The captain tried to get help from the French and Portuguese authorities, but they too ordered the ship away from their shores. The storm eventually took its toll on the ship resulting in the tanker splitting in half and releasing 20 million gallons oil into the sea.

According to a report by the Pontevedra Economist Board, the total cleanup cost $12 billion.

# 2. Space Shuttle Columbia - $13 Billion

The Space Shuttle Columbia was the first space worthy shuttle in NASA ' s orbital fleet. It was destroyed during re-entry over Texas on February 1, 2003 after a hole was punctured in one of the wings during launch 16 days earlier. The original cost of the shuttle was $2 Billion in 1978. That comes out to $6.3 Billion in today ' s dollars. $500 million was spent on the investigation, making it the costliest aircraft accident investigation in history. The search and recovery of debris cost $300 million.

In the end, the total cost of the accident (not including replacement of the shuttle) came out to $13 Billion according to the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

On April 26, 1986, the world witnessed the costliest accident in history. The Chernobyl disaster has been called the biggest socio-economic catastrophe in peacetime history. 50% of the area of Ukraine is in some way contaminated. Over 200,000 people had to be evacuated and resettled while 1.7 million people were directly affected by the disaster. The death toll attributed to Chernobyl , including people who died from cancer years later, is estimated at 125,000. The total costs including cleanup, resettlement, and compensation to victims has been estimated to be roughly $200 Billion. The cost of a new steel shelter for the Chernobyl nuclear plant will cost $2 billion alone. The accident was officially attributed to power plant operators who violated plant procedures and were ignorant of the safety requirements needed.

Back To My Hometown, The place I used to be grow up when I was a small kid.

Parit Unas, Muar is a very small, quiet place and of course it is a village (it is also called "Kampung" in Malay). My Grandma house was located there and there was the place I started to understand about this world.

Let me explain about its history. When the time the Japanese soldiers were still fighting at China, a lot of Chinese from there were trying their best to run away from war. So, some of them were landed at this place through Malacca Strait.

My Grandpa is from Tang Shan, somewhere of China and My Grandma is a Singaporean. They was married at there without knowing each other before. Last time, they didn't have the chance to do something like this couple:

So how this place become a village from nothing? The main reason is because there has a small port for fishermans to look for their income to support their family.

Beside this, another reason is here has a temple at the beginning and 2 more temples were builded up after quite many years later. Last time, this very small and old temple was built because of fishermans can pray for a safe trip for their everytime of going out to the middle of the sea. Chinese always has a little of superstition.

Because of this, 2 more temples built up and it started to attract more people to come here to pray for themselves, especially during Chinese New Year period.They like to pray to the god for hoping a better luck, better fortune and better health for whole new year. So how they get the advise from god? I don't know what is this call in English but in chinese, it called "Qian", The Advises from God. Trust it or not, it is all depend on you.

It helps to bring the opportunity for the villages to start up some small business to sell some local product. My Grandparents were one of them but nowadays their health are not as good as last time so we decided to stop them for continuing the business. This picture is remind me when I was small, I was always helping them up and it was quite fun actually. This part of my memory is can't be forgotten.

Day after day, people there is getting old and their children is growing up and move away from this very quiet village including my parents as well for looking a better job to support the family. But before this, my father used to be a fisherman and he said this is a very tough job and risky.

You need to maintain your boat when you are free no matter how hot is the weather...

Plan for taking a break? Here is the place for them to take a break...

They don't even have the time to take a proper bath during the working period no matter how bad the weather is....

So, that is roughly about fisherman's life at there. How about the children there? When I was small, when the time the computer was still very expensive, internet connection was still very expensive and slow, what do we played at the moment? Here is the answer..

We can spend a whole afternoon to just sit there for fishing. Sounds very boring huh? When you can manage to catch a fish, that will be very satisfying.

Seriously, I don't know what is this called but we used to catch this kind of small fish last time. Because I am the only one who don't know how to swim so most of the time I was just sit on a place to watch them catching those fishes. What a waste...

This collection means a lot to me because it is a major part of my memory when I was small. The moment with my grandparents and playing around with my sibling and cousins.This collection is full with my feeling about my hometown, the place I used to grow up when I was small.....

(Sorry for posting too many pictures for my final project here but I think these are still not enough to describe about my hometown... hope you will enjoy these. the pictures is really priceless because the goverment is going to develope this area so maybe few years later I can't see those old, wooden houses at there anymore. In fact, a lot of houses was dismantled for preparing for the development, including my grandparent house as well, the house they used to live more than 60 years...) This is one of the houses are still existing at there.

I will be back to my hometown to celebrate this very important festival means to all the chinese people. For kids will feel very happy because they can collect their Red Packet. For adult, maybe this will be a very good moment to reunion with family members and take the opportunity to gather with all the relatives. So no matter how to spend your chinese new year, can stay together with your family members always is the best thing of your life, at least it means to me.

Nokia N98? Concept or Real?

Just now I was surfing the Concept phones website and I found this, the non-official Nokia N98 with touch screen interface. From this picture, although we do not know whether it is real or just a concept or maybe now still at the concept stage, but the interface looks quite nice and it feels quite different with the existing symbian 60 touch screen operating system. It looks so must nice than the OS that using on 5800. About the phone design, it is a very simple and clean look by filling a big screen and without any buttons. Does it looks cool to you? Well, I believe it is just a concept phone so far but if this can be true, it is so much cooler and I believe that it will be so much useful than iPhone. Do you think same as me?

Ngee Ann Poly New Canteen: Makan Place

It is started at the first day of school reopen. The first air cond canteen in Ngee Ann Campus. It is called "Makan Place", located at block 51, pretty close to School of FMS.

Because it is quite a distance away from my school, I only had the chance to go there at last Friday. There have 16 food and beverage stalls, Waffle Town, Subway, Hungry Jack and a din xin stall. Subway is the first fast food stall in Ngee Ann Campus which mean we have more choice rather than canteen but because it is the only one stall in campus, the queue is always long.

How about the waffle stall just beside Subway? It is called Waffle Town and I tried their waffle with ice-cream. Well, the ice cream is taste just fine, maybe because we choosed the blurberry flavour but the waffle is too plain. Nothing special...

About Hungry Jack, I haven't try the food yet and the price seen a bit too expensive for me. It is a western food stall. The stall that beside it is din xin stall.

The environment there is pretty good. The main reason is because of the air cond environment. You can enjoy your food without sweating too much and not really to care about the weather outside, sunny or rainy. The design is also quite modern as well, just like the food court of shopping centre.

As you can expect, there is always full of students, Ngee Ann staffs and also some of the students from SIM. You can hardly get a table there during lunch break because it is still something new appeared around campus.

Movie Review: Red Cliff Part 2 赤壁下

Today is first launching day of Red Cliff Part 2. I went to CineLeisure to watch this, one MUST SEE movie of the year 2009 and it really didn't disappoint me. I went there with my classmates and Nigel joined us as well. As you can expect, it was full house and we only managed to get 3rd row seats.

If you think that the part 1 was boring, the part 2 will not let you down although the first hour of the show was a bit unnecessary but it is still worth to wait for the battle of Chi Bi. If you think the part 1 was not bad, then you must definitely cant miss the part 2, which is more and more exciting than part 1, of course...

Another great news, if you are personally like Lin Zhi Ling, famous taiwanese model, she is appear much more times than the previous part and she is one of the important role for this battle.

So, let roughly talk about this movie. Like I said, roughly because I don't want to be the spoiler and I strongly recommend you go to purchase a movie ticket if you like about chinese history. But, same as part 1, you can't expect the storyline is exactly the same from what you saw from the book, even the book you studied is maybe not the correct history.

Before go into the details about the storyline, lets us talk about the battlefield scene. From part 1, the only huge battle is about the formation of Ba Gua and it was pretty nice formation and quite a huge battle as well, of course it is not as huge as the battle of Chi Bi. So, for part 2, the director of the movie, John Koo doesn't let all the viewers down and what I can say is, the battle scene is seriously done nicely and I think he spent quite a lot of efforts to make sure that the viewers won't fall asleep during the first hour of the movie by preparing some funny lines for the actors, especially for the Liu Bei Advisor, Mr Zhu Ge Kong Ming. This is the part I quite don't like about the movie because it make me feel that the Kong Ming is not a very serious person. For Wu General, Gan Ning, you can see how funny he was trying to create the powerful fireboom and seriously that was really very funny.

The Battle of Chi Bi, started by burning all the warships those belong to Cao Cao Force. Thousands of warships just burned down by Wu Force quite easily because of the wind direction. General Gan Ning was sacrified to open the main gate for his force to break through the defense line of the Cao Cao Force. They fought from midnight until morning and at the end, as you can expect, the Allied Force won the battle and captured Master Cao Cao and Xiao Qiao (Lin Zhi Ling), the wife of Zhou Yu was been saved, nicely by his husband. The most funny part is at the end of the battle, Zhou Yu decided to let Cao Cao go. What a waste...

How about the storyline? We can't blame the director because he was tried his best to squeeze about 2-3 chapters into a 2.5 hours movie. Fortunately, the plot of borrow the arrows from Cao Cao is part of the movie. Beside this, the visit of Jiang Gan was quite nonsense and the 'Fake Punishment of Huang Gai' was missing and they added the story about the Shun Shang Xiang who the one went to Cao Cao camp to investigate and to check about the strength of Cao Cao Force. It was quite wasting time seriously but I think it is because of commercial purpose. It must put in some love story to make sure it still can attrach people to come and watch the movie.

So, overall I think it is still a very good movie to watch and worth every cents you spend for battle scene, which was cost me SGD 9.00. The director didn't let me down.

The New Opening Song For Gundam 00 Season 2

This coming Sunday is the day of Gundam 00 season 2 episode 14. The official website was released the information about the new opening song for Gundam 00 about one week ago.

The new opening song is from Stereopony. Its name is 泪のムコウ. I only found the music from internet so I decided to create a short opening for this new opening since I am studying in this field, video editing. The video is taken from Gundam 00 season 2 episode 1 until episode 13. The sound quality is not really that good and it slightly panned to right channel.

The First N-series Touch Screen Handphone

So, how do you feel about the Nokia first touch screen handphone? Well, if you think that is not good enough and not powerful enough. This should be the better choice for you.

About 2 years ago, the cyberworld keep spreading about the concept or non-official pictures about the N79, the first touch screen interface N-series handphone. Just a moment ago, the Nokia World Exhibition, Barcelona had shows the second Nokia touch screen interface handphone, N79 come with a really excellent interface operating system and it looks smoother than 5800. It comes with a qwerty keypad and it is a side-slided handphone. When you slide it up, the qwerty keypad will be showed and the screen will be lifted up around 45 degree. This is definitely a something new from Nokia.

About its design, honestly it looks very similar with 5800. Only the menu button is located in different place if compare with 5800. The internal memory space is 32GB and it can support up to 16GB micro SD card. The total memory space can go up to 48GB which is the biggest space so far among all the Nokia products and probably the whole handphone market.

The N79 is designed by a japanses designer, Mr Eguchi Shujiro. The handphone is also using the Symbian 60 5th edition, which is the same as 5800 operating system. It also come with Ovi services, 5MP Carl Zeiss camera, 3.5mm headphone jack, N-gage games supported.

So, for a such a powerful handphone, how big do you think it can go? Well, the size is pretty general, which is 117.2mm x 55.3 mm x 15.9mm and the weight is 150g.

So, a great handphone product come from Nokia once again. Never dissapointing his supporters. Keep it up, Keep connecting people.

Happy New Year And Welcome 2009

First, Happy New Year to everyone and wish you all the best for 2009...

Second, just now I went to Marina Bay to join the countdown party and watch the fireworks with my classmates. But our main purpose is to shoot the fireworks. Shooting fireworks is not as easy as what were we expecting but honestly, it was a very good experience to me. Thanks to the auntie who is used to be photographer. She gave us some tips and concept to get a better shot for fireworks.

But unfortunately, I didn't manage shoot the fireworks nicely.

Third, last year was happened a lot of matter like SiChuan Earthquake, Economy Tsunami, Beijing Olympic, Election of Malaysia, USA and Taiwan and the Poisoned Baby Milk Powder. It covered the whole world and it affects everyone especially the Economy Tsunami. Hope it can get better in 2009 although it is not quite possible but miracle always can be happened once you trust it, isn't it?

Fourth, about myself, nothing much changed during 2008. I started blogging on April, studies still going smoothly, my family bought a new car, went to KL twice with my friends, watched at most movies in this year, interned to MediaCorp, started to use Macintosh OS and upgraded my Tiger into Leopard, did a recording session for my school project, got a DSLR from school for using for my photography module..... so and so.... oh ya, one more, I got my first pair of glass because my astigmatism was getting worse....

Lastly, for the 2009, I hope that everyone can be the best for their life and I can be the best for mine, the world can get better and better, my friend can get into University in Singapore, my another friend can get rid of his hopeless roommate as soon as possible and most important is, I can found someone to accompany me and be the part of my life....

Thanks to all my friends who keep supporting me last year and I will be better and work harder in 2009. Gambateh....

KL Trip with My Friends

I was missing nearly last whole week because I went to Kuala Lumpur with my friends. Our trip was about 5 day 4 night and we stayed at my friend's brother place.

This time, we went to a lot of places, Twin Tower Skybridge, Aquaria (KLCC), Bukit Tinggi and shopping malls like Mid Valley, Pavilion, Times Square and The Gardens. Our trip were more concentrated on Makan (eating). We ate a lot of foods everyday and all our money just spent for eating foods. I must do more exercise after this, otherwise my body will get fat.

I never think that actually escalator can be just as cool as like this...

I took this shot at the Ang Mo Kio Hub about 1am... during the time that waiting my friend to go help as a volunteer for Singapore Marathon 2008.

Actually, to get a nice photo, the problem is not about camera, it is all about how well u know about this world because we are always ignore that something not really important in our lives just like the escalator. Everyday, it brings convenience to people to go up or down but most of the people just treat it as machine and not more than that.

For me, escalator is a very useful mechanical system to bring us up and down. But there always have something more. Some of the escalators are running 24 hours non-stop and it is a very tough job. The gear inside will break down one day. He also need to be treated by his doctor (Technician). He need to smell your shoes everyday but he won't complain anything.

So we must appreciate his work and show our respect to him, which is use the escalator properly and don't get hurt when you are using it because he don't like people to get hurt because of him and don't use your blood to dirty him...

How do you feel for him? Our little delivery boy....

Lee Guitars All-Star Concert Singapore 2008 (一切都是从吉他开始)

Hmmm... Let me think back for awhile...

Oh, yeah... I went to this concert on 29th November, about 2 weeks ago. This was my first time to watch a concert. Although that was not a very huge concert but the overall feel just right, I just like it.

I reached Kallang MRT station about 7.20pm if I didn't remember it wrongly. Before I go into more details, Why I will go to watch this concert? First, she is the one that I definitely will agree to accompany to everywhere she like to go. Second, the ticket was free because of she bought a new handphone from Singtel and they was gave her 2 tickets.

Anyway, let us back to the subject. The concert is held by Emil Chau, Mayday, Tanya Chua, Zhang Zhen Yue & Jonathan Lee and Chen Qi Zhen. All of them are Asia’s top composer-singers. Each of them was holding a Lee Guitar to perform and all of them were telling the story behind of the guitars. All of the guitars has their own different story.

Like I mention just now, the concert was not large. Can consider as an average-size of concert with good lighting effect, not very good sound quality (I heard the clipping something, especially during MayDay was performing, but no problem during those blue, unplugged and love songs) but all are very nice singers and songs. The most importantly, the person who sat beside me was just right at the moment. Unfortunately, nothing happen....

Overall, beside the sound quality have the plenty of room for improvement, everything was quite well done... Don't Get Fooled By the Color

Last time I was talked about the monitor calibration. This time, let talk about the color saturation.

Most of the time, people will feel LCD is better than Plasma from many aspect, such as color, performance, clarity and so on. But do you know, the worst amount of color that can be reproduced by the monitor is LCD?? Does this answer surprise you?? But it is true, LCD is the worst monitor that can reproduced the amount of type of colors.

So, How they trick your eyes?? Before I go to a little bit detail, let the wikipedia show you what is Gamuts about:

Gamuts are commonly represented as areas as shown at above, with the curved edge representing the monochromatic colors. Gamut areas typically have triangular shapes because most color reproduction is done with three primaries.

The grayed-out horseshoe shape is the entire range of possible chromaticties. The colored triangle is the gamut available to a typical computer monitor; it does not cover the entire space. The corners of the triangle are the primary colors for this gamut; in the case of a CRT, they depend on the colors of the phosphors of the monitor. At each point, the brightest possible RGB color of that chromaticity is displayed, resulting in the bright Mach band stripes corresponding to the edges of the RGB color cube.

Since the LCD monitor has the smallest gamuts among all of kinds of monitor. So how can they trick our eyes? The theory behind is just simple. Color Saturation can easily done the job nicely and without notice by most of the users.

Here I show an example to explain why.

So, LCD monitor actually is much suitable to watch cartoons and animes then movies. Because of its saturated color can make the anime and cartoons looks much more nicer but for the nature color like movie, thing will easily get wrong.

For the future, when you looking at those LCD panels with a very 'nice' looking color, BEWARE. Maybe you will become the next victim? Actually, overall for LCD is still good. What I want to deliver through this post is, don't just simply been cheated by those electronic retailer. You can try to ask them to show the video test pattern to let you do the comparison between different LCD monitors if can, which is like this:

Out-shooting at Raffles Place

This was the first time I went out for a group shooting with my classmates so far. Although it is not officially assigned by our lecturer but we were really enjoyed the shooting and gain more experiences on photography.

We were walking around the Raffles Place and looking for something interesting to shoot. This was also the first time I have the chance to spend my time at there to walk around and i got the chance to see those very British Style building such as The Fire Station, Raffles Hotel and others.

Monitor Calibration

Nowadays, LCD, Plasma, CRT, Projector, more and more kinds of display is around the market. I am sure that everyone was dealing with different kinds of display before. BUT, different kind of display, or even different display from different company will have the different setting for the monitor. Brightness, Contrast, Color, Tint, Color temperature and even Backlight for laptop display. So how we know which setting is the proper setting to show the right colour from the monitor?

Well, 2 ways can determine this issue. First, simplest and easiest... our eyes but the problem will occur also. Different people has different judgment about the color. Something that you think it is in yellow but others may not to feel the same as you feel. So, to overcome this problem, calibration tool was came in to solve this problem.

But, thing is hardly to get perfect. Although the monitor calibration tool is based on the engineering concept to adjust the monitor setting to the best setting but machine is always not more than a machine. In the end of calibration, we still need our eyes to give a final touch to adjust the monitor to reach the so called ' best setting' for the monitor owner. Like our human eyes, the different tool also can give a very different adjustment, some will change your monitor setting become better but some will not.

I did my laptop monitor calibration few days ago because of my photography module. It is very important for us to do the editing in order to mix the color properly and take care of the color printing.

So, here I shows a sample about the before calibrating and after calibrating monitor performance:

(I don't you can really notice any different from these pictures, but in fact the result of after the calibrating will slightly darker and not as yellowish than the before version. If you can't see any difference, it maybe caused by the web browser because of the color configuration maybe difference for different browser.)

Although the result of after calibrating cannot fully convince everyone, but it still very important for Visual engineer in order to get the right setting for the monitor, especially for photography to do the final color mixing before the printing process. It will make your photo go haywire if the monitor doesn't calibrate properly. Same go for the video industry.

Movie Review: High School Musical 3

Finally, I went to watch the HSM3 on last Friday together with her... yea, this is the first time we met at outside of the school so I was quite happy at the moment and didn't really concentrate on the movie but HSM3 is still a nice movie, and even better than its previous episode.

This time is their senior year and going to graduate and continue their studies on different university. Some said, the relationship can't go further after graduate but Troy was decided to continue his study at an university that just near to his beloved's university. Before he make the decision, he was also struggling about his future, either stage or basketball......

The show was exciting and quite romantic also. It is really for those are going to fall in love with each other, couples and maybe kids... and seriously, it is not a boring musical show like others.

The overall storyline was much better than the HSM2 and the soundtrack was awesome. You can't really miss out their album. So what are you waiting for after the movie, go and grad a HSM3 original soundtrack disc.

After Casino Royale, Daniel Craig is back once again and Aston Martin also come back with him.

I went to watch the movie just after my lesson today. I watched it together with my classmates and I was really enjoyed the movie. Not a bad movie theater in Vivo city. Fortunately I was booked the ticket online, otherwise I really have no idea until when we can start to watch the movie. The walk-in booking queue was long. Very long....

Before you watch the movie, make sure you watched the Casino Royale before to understand the this movie because it is continued the previous movie.

Continue the from the last movie, Bond is trying to look for the mastermind behind of these. They are monolopoling and organizing something to repudiate the government of Polizia. It is all related to money and politic or maybe the power. It is involve with a very large group of organization with a lot of big bosses. I let you all to figure it out yourself... Don't want to spoil the movie... It is a nice movie... seriously...

At the beginning part, it is a car chasing scene that Bond was driving the DBS and he was been chased by a few cars. Feel sad for the DBS but it is still in one piece after the chasing...

The technology shows in the movie is cool but the coolest part is, the audiences were having the conversation when they were watching the performance. Really impressive...

You think only have the car chasing show in the whole movie? You are totally wrong. Beside car, boat and plane also been driven by him in order to run away from his enemies but it is not a very tough job to him.

Bond cannot forgive himself because of his last partner, the girl he loved died to save him. Anyway, after the certain matter happened in this movie, he finally can overcome this matter and forgive himself.

I like Daniel Craig act as James Bond rather than the previous actors because I feel that he has the charming and he was telling to everyone, something James Bond is also a normal guy, will make mistake sometime. Well done, you really did a great job and didn't dissapointed me once again. Look forward for the next episode of 007 movie.... A must watch movie of the year.

Hmmm... These 2 days I was keep searching for something to take to represent as motion freeze effect. My friend was gave me a suggestion that maybe can take the shot during raining moment. So, coincidentally, today is a raining day and I didn't let the chance go away from my hand.

Self Practice with D80

Woo... Finally I can manage to get the camera from school (although they just lent it to us), but we still have the whole semester to play around with this DSLR and also it will be the good chance for me to practice and improve my photography skill. So, I was brought it back to my home and do some practice to prepare for next week workshop session.

Sorry, I forgot to mention about DOF. DOF is stand for Deep of Field. It means the deepness for the overall picture.

I don't know most of you will like to have half-boiled eggs as your breakfast. Or maybe some of you don't even like or dare to have it. But I am going to tell you, you are really missed a really good stuff, especially when you have it as your breakfast.

I didn't really know what kind of nutrition we can get from egg so I was did some research about it.

A large egg contains 4.5 grams of fat (1.5 of which is saturated fat), and 213 milligrams of cholesterol. Eggs are also protein-rich, low in sodium, and contain valuable vitamins and minerals.

So we can know that egg is very good to human body and it provides quite a lot of kinds of nutrition.

But this is not the purpose of this post. What i am going to show is what can be called as in perfect condition of HALF-BOILED eggs.

This is what I ate at the Old Town that located in Genting Klang, KL. Quite disappointed because it was undercooked.

This is what our school canteen provided. As you can see, it is also not really well cooked but this one can be considered as the best in our school, at Canteen 2.

I have nothing to complain on this. It is perfectly well-cooked as you can see, the egg white don't have any undercooked and the yolk is also in the perfect 50% cooked condition. Once you eat, you can really feel satisfied for the day. This is from Old Town Coffee House in Nusa Bestari, JB.

Life can be just simple. For me, 2 well-cooked half-boiled eggs can just satisfied me easily for the whole day.

The new generation of MacBook is already showed but it doesn't really give too much of surprise about its thickness. I think you have the same doubt with me, how slim our laptop possible to go after MacBook Air?

Well, touch screen sensor is quite recently applied on my electronic devices, especially on handphone. It can just done by a screen that shows full spec of Qwerty keyboard, or maybe even can change to other kind of combination to give us more convenience to do any typing and controlling our device. The only problem is the feedback issue but it is not really a big deal.

As you can see, Apple company own the best and slimmest laptop screen around the world, especially the new LED backlist screen display on new Macbook. So maybe we can hope Apple to come out something can really give us a big stunnishing.

Yeah, finally Nokia is going to launch the first touch screen handphone to compete with other competitors in the handphone market, especially for Apple.

After Apple launched its very first handphone with multi-touch screen function, the whole handphone market is trying their best to come out their own product to compete with this giant monster. Although iPhone is not as good as a handphone but still have a lot of admirers were bought it as their handphone. So, to overcome this big earthquake of handphone market. Samsung, LG, Sony Ericsson and even HTC already came out many products with built-in features those can compete with iPhone such as touch screen function, accerelometer, new user interface and so on.

Last 2 days of my KL trip

After we came back fro Genting, I was just simply walk around in KL accompany by EC, Tracy, Ryan and Renise. Thanks for spending their time with me to show me around the KL.

We went to Mid-Valley Megamall, Berjaya Time Square, Pavilion and Low Yat. We also watched a few movies which are showed from previous posts. My legs were almost break off and really feel very tired about these few days. So I think same for my friends. Thanks once again.

I bought some stuffs those I didn't manage to buy it in somewhere else.

Movie Review: Disaster Movie

From a producer who watched too many of movies. He combine those most of the blockbuster movies in this year and he just make everything goes wrong. Wrong totally.

Let me count for all the movies those included in this movie. Those are Iron Man, The Hulk, Batman, Enchanted, Alvin and the Chipmunk, Kung Fu Panda, Juno, Wanted, Jumper, The Day After Tomorrow, 10000 BC, Hancock, Hellboy, Indiana Jones, High School Musical 3, Beowolf and Sex and the City. These are what I know so far... and the producer also include few of the celebrity such as Justin Timberlake (JT), Ashlee Simpson, Michael Jackson and Hannah Montena....

You can't stop laughing when the movie started with so called 10001BC and the movie just keep combining all those movies with very very wrong way. Iron Man just showed out and after awhile he was been crashed by a cow then he become a tin can. The storyline is just completely nonsense. You really can't stop laughing along the movie. If you want to see a movie that can make you laugh until your tears come out. This is the best choice for you to do so.

Movie Review: Eagle Eye

At first I watched its movie trailer I wasn't really understand what is this movie about. This cause me to feel curious about this movie and its main actor is the main actor of Transformer. So, we decided to give it a watch at Mid Valley Megamall.

This movie is about a guy have a brother that worked for US Air Force Military Department and he dead because he was trying to stop the A.I that developed by US Military, it called Eagle Eye. It has a very powerful Central Processing Unit which is make it able to control every single electronic device around country. The purpose of this is for the sake of the safety for the country but sometime, people will turn become bad, same as Artificial Intelligent. It was trying to kill the 12 persons those hold very important position in US government, also including the president and vice president of US.

In this movie, Jerry was been set up unexpectedly and he was been forced to cooperate with the Eagle Eye (can also call Aria, it is a A.I unit). Rachel also been involved in this action innocently and she need to perform the last mission, to activate the boom in her necklace which is she don't know.

Overall for this movie is just fine. The storyline wasn't really good but the A.I unit was really give me a big shock and I was wondering that if this really become true and the government really manipulate everything behind of us, using CCTV to keep watch on the public and wiretap on every single call in the country. What will happen?

New experience in Genting Highland

KL trip continues (3rd and 4th day)...

Like I said, I went to Genting with my friends, those are EC, Tracy, Boss(Ryan) and Ladyboss(Renise). After we had our breakfast at OldTown, we took bus to Titiwangsa LRT station and took train to Gombak to buy the Go Genting Express bus ticket. Our bus started on 12.30pm and we reached Genting skyway around 1.30pm then we switched our transport to the fastest cable car and the longest distance of cable car in South East Asia, Genting Skyway. It just spent around 10 mins for us to get to our destination, Genting Highland which is around 3.4km away from the skyway station. It's really fast seriously and I was quite scared because it is freaking HIGH.... But fortunately the thick mists and the cool winds outside was let me feel much more comfortable...

Because when we were there is on the normal season so the crowd wasn't really too big and we just spent around 15 mins for the queue.

As you can see, along the way the mist was become thicker and thicker and the wind out there also become very cold...

After 10mins journey of the cable car, we finally reached Genting Hotel.

So after we reached Genting, the very first thing we did is book a room for us to stay one night. We manage to book a room in First World Hotel and this is my very first time to do walk-in booking. RM130 for one night of a deluxe room. Its can be consider quite cheap deal because we had 5 person at the moment. RM26 pax....

During the waiting time for check in, we went for settle our lunch first. The food's price in Genting is almost twice or maybe can go up to 3 times of our normal price. So we try our best to look for the cheapest deal. Well, we found a food court located in 2B floor of First World Hotel.

The Teppan Yee Mee cost me around RM 8.80 and it tastes nice...

After the lunch session, we went to outside to enjoy the very cold weather and thick mists... I won't forget to introduce a very nice chestnut stall to my friends. You can imagine when you are enjoying the hot chestnut at outside with a very cold weather... It feels really warm the feeling is just nice. You want to know how thick for the mists is? We only can see the thing about few metres away. Just look at the picture...

Finally, I can manage to take a clear view of the Highland Hotel....

Our friends, EC's bag almost been frozen out there due to the very cold weather outside...

We checked in our room around 5pm. After we do the check in, all of us were resting inside the room and enjoy the show that featuring by EC and Tracy. I was the innocent there but unfirtunately, I was invovled some of the part of show... We all just playing inside the room.

Until almost 7pm, i went out the room first to find a good place to have our dinner. Before that I took a pretty nice picture at FW Hotel.

I suggested them to enjoy our dinner at a italian restaurant. They are selling some pretty nice pizzas and we all really enjoyed our dinner.

After our dinner, we went to outside again and we just sat down in front of Genting Hotel to chat with each other and playing around....

Around 9.30pm, we went back to the First World Hotel and we decided to play in indoor theme park. We played Europe Express(the only roller coaster in indoor theme park), Bumper car and 4D cinema. The Europe Express was modified and it is not as exciting as previous version but we still quite enjoyed of it. The 4D cinema wasn't good because of its poor quality, I feel abit of giddy. About the Bumper car, this is my worst experience I ever had before but is the most enjoyable experience. I was been surrounded by they all and it caused me can't move down there... It is a 1 vs 4 battle, so unfair...

We slept around 3pm and we need to wake up early because Ryan and Renise need to rush for the noon class. Before we set up, we were having our breakfast at Downstair of Genting Skyway station. The food there is average but the price can be consider quite cheap around the place.

The purpose to go there is to enjoy the very cold weather and we really enjoyed it. And due to now is the period of the end of year, the weather there is cooler and added up abit of rain... Genting Highland, beside entertainment, it is a really good place to relax yourself. Just let the wind blow onto your face... I hope I can be back to there again... either with my family or with my friends... or maybe with my partner?? who knows...

My Vacation in KL

Since I still having my school holiday(last week of the holiday...), I decide to walk around in KL so i followed my friends, EC and Boss to come to KL.

This time, I am trying to find the Howard Leight Earmuff for my experiment on headphone. Unfortunately, I can't found it in Low Yat (the best IT mall in KL) so I bought a so called 'mid-end' headphone to try out its performance which is quite disappointing me.

Here is it, the Philips headphone SHP2000, comfort and fully adjustable. For its headphone design, seriously I like it. It can fit onto my ear but its cup can't really isolate the ambient noise, not even for a little bit... You can't really expect too much from RM59 but what I feel is, my money was spent for a really cheap stuff.

Before we went to Low Yat, we also went to Pavilion to walk around and catch a movie, Connected，保持通话

For a HK production, this one can be consider a pretty well done action movie between police and the bad side. All the scenes are pretty well done. Featuring by Barbie Hsu, Louis Koo, Nick Cheung and Liu Ye. If you like to watch those HK action movies, definitely is a can't miss movie for you

Lastly, I need to introduce is about Food... The Big Apple Donuts. They have 23 kinds of donut for you to choose. I tried some of the flavor. I like the orea and the peanut flavor. Their donuts are not too oily and not too sweet. For me, it is just nice to eat.

They are going to set up a retailer around JB which is at Jusco Bukit Indah. I am strongly recommend this to those who like to eat donut and you sure will like it.

We will be going to Genting tomorrow. My last time went to Genting was 1.5 years ago... looking forward to there again...

Something Delicious From My Hometown

This is my very very like favorite since I was young. My hometown is at Muar so everytime if I have the chance to go back I will definitely go to enjoy my La Chang Rice (腊肠饭). La Chang(I don know what I suppose to call in English.) is made by pork and you can't get it easily. It is available at the downtown of Muar.

The restaurant built on 1893, can be considered a very old building. The environment there is not really clean but since the food there is really delicious, I won't really care about it...
A lot of delicious foods is located at this street with a very suitable name for it, Tan Jia Gue(贪吃街), it means the street for Gluttonous people...

Does it look very tasty?? It is much better than its look. Once you add up some otahs, the food will be even nicer... Believe me, once you try it, you won't forget it... really... This is one of the MUST try food at Muar.

Why I say is one of them? Because in Muar actually have a lot of nice foods. Yun Tan Mee, Otah, La Chang Rice, Wu Xiang(五香), Bak Guk Teh and many more until I cant really remember...

These are Wu Xiang and the most famous food of Muar, Otah. It is also can be consider the trademark of Muar but nowadays the taste is not as good as last time. Quite dissapointed... The Wu Xiang is another MUST try food at Muar especially for its fish cake.

Actually, this time I went back to my hometown is main for celebrate my grandmother's birthday. We were went to a restaurant at Saturday's night for the celebration. The food there is just consider average.

But for the next day morning, we went to a restaurant to enjoy their very famous dish, Bak Guk Teh. It was really delicious. The smell of the herbal is pretty strong and also for the taste. I was forgot to take the photo because it is too delicious to eat until I can't remember to capture it down.

Here is something special that you can find in Muar... All the antennas are very tall than usual height....

As I planned, I went to collect my new MyKAD today. I replace my old MyKAD because of the chip.I really don't know why but MyKAD's chip rusted itself and because I need to use it for applying a new account. I notice something on my new IC, TouchnGo icon is located at the back of IC so does it mean it can use it as TouchnGo? Well, it is really not much use for me so just treat it as a additional feature for me. After I collect MyKAD, i also went to the KWSP building , which is just located beside of it to check about something for my mum.

Everything was well planned,especially on timing and weather because I reached at City Square was around 10 past morning and just nice when I reach there the sky start raining. The movie was started on 11.20am. I watched 2 movies today. The first movie is Wall E and the second movie is Money No Enough 2.

Let talk about Wall E first.

This movie started on a robot that help human to clean the Earth, which is Wall E. He was doing the same job everyday and every moment. His body has a very useful feature, recorder. He always playback the same song(sorry I cant remember the song name, I just know it is a love song, very oldies but quite nice...) and he is alone on the Earth. No one talk to him. He only has a friend accompany him, cockroach. Do you want to know how a cockroach jump for cheering? watch it and you will know how... And are you the fastest guy for playing cubic? But you can't beat her, Eva. She can just solve the puzzle after few seconds later when she receiving the cubic from Wall E. I shouldn't talk too much on the story and what I recommend you is... you should spend you time to watch it with someone, your partner will be the best choice. This movie is combine love and robot into one. You can see how Wall E was trying his best to hold Eva hand and how hard he was trying to help Eva and human, even can sacrificed himself to save everyone because of Eva. Such a touching movie.... and it is really funny, relaxing movie.

Beside these, Wall E also try to tell the audience a very clear message, if we still don't try to do something to save Earth, what happened in the movie will become true. The rubbish is flooding everywhere of Earth. You think those buildings in New York is very tall? Wall E can tell you all the rubbish can be even taller than that...

He was trying his best to save Eva. Although inside the ship have hundred of same robot as Eva but only the true love can connect them together so Wall E can found his only one from hundred of same robot.

The overall movie is touching, relaxing and keep making me laugh from the beginning until the end. This movie also try to convey a message to the audience, about the rubbish issue, maybe I am too sensitive on that?? If you always watch those of korea movie, you will realize that actually the Eva is quite similar with those girls in the movie, strong and doughty. A bit of shadow of Korea movie.... But the whole movie is still worth to watch. I watched it only with RM5. Why? Thanks to the Early Bird promotion...

I finished the first movie on 1pm then I went for my lunch. One of my favorite, Portuguese Chicken. The shop is located at level 2, Robin's Portuguese Chicken.

A fresh look after the shop renovation...

I ordered a set of 2 chicken wings with noodle and a cup of 100plus.... it was delicious as usual but the wing part a bit of overcooked.

You really can't miss this, the famous dessert for your after meal, Portuguese Egg Tart. The egg is really smooth and it just melted in your month when you are eating it... Not a word can explain the feeling about it... Yummy....

After my lunch, I was met Joo and his gf accidentally. He is accompanying his gf to go home so I just chat abit with them then I need to rush for my second movie, Money No Enough 2 on 1.50pm.

It is another best movie from Jack Neo, without a doubt. The movie talked about some issues in SG that really cause trouble for those SG'rean. Because I am also studying in SG I can really feel the thing as they are. ERP, like to complain, the singing competition and so on. It is very realistic and it is really close to people(I mean SG'rean) so you won't feel surprise that a lot of SG'rean watched this movie and liked it really much. I was wondering if our nation have this kind of production, sure will be banned I guess. But we have much more issue can be talk about and playing around, isn't it??

Overall for the movie is still good, as good as the previous and even better. Jack Neo also applied some of the CG into this movie, The EPR(actually is ERP but in the movie is EPR... maybe the copyright issue or Jack Neo don want to shoot it too directly???) which is really a good try on it. The theme of this movie is really close to the reality nowadays, all the prices are keep incresing but not for the salary. So how the money can be enough for us?? And some of the part about the grandmother was quite touching, especially when you see the grandmother was willing to give up her live to save her granddaughter, really touching and it tell us how great a mother can be although we didn't meet this kind of case in our lives but it really happened on somewhere of the world? What decision you will chooce if you are the grandmother???

I think after these 2 movies, I will properly wait until Oct or even Nov to catch some good movies because it looks like don't have any interesting movie for me now. Who knows?? James Bond is coming back soon on November, maybe another best movie of the year???
